Scene: Lucy just woke up and Tj is sitting on the couch.

Tj: Good morning Lucy.

Lucy: Hi. Do we have to go to court again today ?

Tj: I don’t know.

Lucy: Anyway what are we having for breakfast?

Tj: Well..um candy. We ran out of breakfast things.

Lucy: Even pancakes ? Even cereal ?

Tj: Yep.

Lucy: Why don’t we go to the supermarket ?

Tj: But I don’t like going to the supermarket and you know that. Why don’t YOU go not me?

Lucy: No that’s not fair!

Tj: Well I went last time.

Lucy: But I was sick.

Tj: Well you are not this week!

Lucy: We will BOTH go, ok?

Tj: Fine bro.

(Tj and Lucy go to the shop)

Lucy: (Getting cereal and pancake ingredients) Let’s get some chicken for dinner too!

Tj: Ok and we should also get some candy for halloween.

Lucy: Ok. (Reaching for the chicken and then heading for the treats aisle)

Tj: Um.. Lucy we might have.. to shop later... ( Tj doesn't get to finish her sentence )

Judge: (Storming in) Lucy and Tj , we need you at the court now. See you there in five minutes at the most ! (Storms back out)

Tj: Lucy let’s get the shopping home right now! (Lucy and Tj  pay for the things then rush to the court with their shopping)

Lucy: Hello Judge.... oh no... ummm , hello Jane and Ruby.

Jane: Don’t talk to us!

Ruby: Yeah!

Judge: Hello , TJ and Lucy.

Tj and Lucy: Ola.

( Jane and Ruby frown )

Tj: Don’t be so grumpy! Wow.

Jane: I said don’t talk to us.

Molly: Hi.. I’m here too?

All apart from Molly: Yes we know.

Judge: So Molly called us all here to share something with you. Jane and Ruby approved.

Molly: Well me,Jane and Ruby thought that it would be a good idea to have a vote and a telly.

Tj: Um Lucy is that ok?

Lucy: Yeah , I guess. But how will it work ?

Molly: Well... I don’t know it will just work.

Tj: Ok fine by me.

Judge: Lucy?

Lucy: Yeah. Ok. How are the votes and stuff going to work then ?

Molly: We go around town with a telly saying “Sesame seed land separated with banana land or sesame seed land kept next to banana land?”

Lucy: Sounds good. ( As Lucy drops the shopping bags)

Tj: Sure let’s see who wins... What do you get if you win?

Jane: We should get what we want. So we want sesame seed land to be called apple land and apple land to be parted from banana land. If we win , sesame seed land gets called apple land and apple land gets parted from banana land. That does not happen if you win.

Ruby and Molly: Yeah that sounds fair.

Lucy: Ok , TJ ?  

Tj: Well ok.

Judge: So , when will you all start ?

Molly: Me and Ruby will write the telly quickly and bring it here tomorrow to check that you are okay with it or if you want to add any changes.

Judge: Ok. See you all tomorrow. How about at 1pm ?

All: Ok.

Judge: Bye!!

All: Bye.

( Everybody leaves the room. )

( TJ and Lucy arrive at home )

Tj: It’s good to be home, isn't it?

Lucy: Yes it is.

Tj: We need to make signs for the protest which means we have to go to the supermarket.

Lucy: (Sighing) Noooooo. I will go to to stationary shop to get some paper and you go to the storage shop to find cardboard. Then we meet at the supermarket to get more groceries since I dropped the last ones....

Tj: Ok thats fine.

Lucy: Okay let’s go. Meet you at the supermarket in an hour. (Lucy leaves the goes out the door , goes to the stationary store and gets everything needed , then goes to the supermarket.)

Tj: Ok Bye. ( As she walks out the door and goes into the storage shop and then goes to the supermarket )

Tj: Hi that was quick.

Lucy: Yeah less than one hour ! Let’s get the groceries now.

Tj: Ok you get the candy for Halloween and I’ll get the breakfast things.

Lucy: Okay. See you in a few minutes. Don’t forget the cornflakes ! (Walking to the candy aisle)

Tj: Ok ( As she walks down the breakfast aisle.)

(They are back within minutes with everything they needed.)

Lucy: Wow that took us like 2 minutes !

Tj: Yeah! We keep doing everything really fast.

Lucy: Yeah. Let’s go home now.

Tj: Well I think we should go home and put the groceries in the cupboard.

Lucy: Ok. Then let’s make the signs then go to sleep because tomorrow is a big day and it will be late by the time we finish.

Tj: Sure bro, you know I am getting really sick of saying ok. ( As they walk out of the supermarket back home )

( Lucy and Tj arrive at home and are getting everything ready for the signs. They get some candy to eat for while they are making the signs )

Tj: Finally we have done!

Tj: Goodnight. ( As she walks into her room)

Lucy: (Waving) Good night.

Tj: Goodnight.

( It is the morning and Lucy and Tj are ready and dressed for court but it is only 9:00 in the morning so they make some more signs )

Lucy: Tj , what do you think of this one? (Holding up a white sign with a yellow banana with “Vote for Banana Land Council!” written under it.)

Tj: Thats great Lucy!

Lucy: Thanks.

Tj: You’re welcome. Do you like this one of mine? ( Holding up a sign that said “ Go bananas for banana land council and not for sesame seeds”)

Lucy: That’s cool. How about a few more ? Then we can get to court early.

Tj: Ok and thanks.

( Lucy and Tj make four more signs and by this time it is 12:30pm )

Lucy: Ok let’s go now.

Tj: Um well sure. ( As they go out the door)

( Tj locks the door behind her and Lucy)

( Lucy and Tj arrive at the court and it is quarter to one. Judge , Jane , Ruby and Molly are there )

All apart from Tj and Lucy: Hi. You’re here early too.

Judge: Cool that means we can start.

All (not judge): Ok then.

Judge: So We are going to start the protest on the border of our lands today and it starts now.

Molly: Well we won’t do the telly then because only one of the sides can do it. You and Tj can.

All( Not Judge): Ok.

Molly: (Showing the start of a telly) It is the telly here you go.

Tj and Lucy: It looks good and thanks we will start right away.

Tj: Um.. Lucy well I kind of forgot the signs

Lucy: That’s alright bro we will just get them before we do the protest.

Tj: Okay. ( As she and Lucy went outside the courthouse)

( In the courthouse)

Jane: So.. Molly you know how you were going to change your name to Sally well I think you should and wear a wig so they wouldn’t know who you are, so you can pretend to be on their side and learn all the SECRETS.

Molly: Maybe but it will take a long time.

Ruby: We can do that maybe when we have finished with the telly and voting things.

Molly: I think we should do it now so they wouldn’t win.

Ruby: But how will it make a difference ?

Molly: Well I could find out their secrets and then we could lie and say we were doing some thing better then them and then we wouldn’t.n’t.

Ruby and Jane: Maybe.

( Lucy and Tj are about to go and do the telly )

Lucy: Let’s go. Let’s start with some friends first.

Tj: Ok. Let’s go and see Maddie and Hannah.

( Lucy and TJ go to find Maddie and Maddie is also with Hannah and Materena. )

Lucy: They all voted for Banana land ! So now it’s three onto zero.

Tj: Yeah that’s so cool ! Let’s go to find your sister.

Lucy: Ok.

( Tj and Lucy walk to Emily’s house )

Lucy: Hey cool . extra votes because Laura and Mikayla and Imogen are there !

Tj: Yeah cool let’s go.

( Laura and Emily vote for sesame seeds and Imogen votes for bananas. )

TJ: Boo hoo. At least Sesame Seeds only have two and we have four!

Lucy: Yeah that’s good. Now let’s go and ask some strangers , but be careful.

Tj: Ok let’s go ask that person and his friend. ( Pointing to a stranger who was with a friend )

( TJ and Lucy ask him which one he wanted )

Lucy: Yay ! He went for bananas and so did his friend ! Now we have six.

Tj: Yay! High-five!

( Tj and Lucy give each other a high-five. They ask five other people and three of them vote for banana land and two vote for sesame seed land. )

Lucy: Now we have nine and sesame seed land has four. I think that’s all we need. Let’s go back now.

Tj: Ok.

( As Lucy and Tj walk into their house)

Tj: I’ll get the signs.

Lucy: Ok. ( As Tj gets the signs off the ground)

Tj: Lets go to the court now.

Lucy: Ok. (As they walk out the door, Tj locks it behind her and walk into the court)

Judge: Hi Lucy and Tj.

Lucy and Tj: Hi everyone.

Jane and Ruby:Don’t talk to us!

Tj: Well thats what you said last time.

Ruby: I SAID DON’T TALK TO US.

Messenger: Ok lets get on with it.

Tj and Lucy: Messenger! Its good to see you!

Messenger: Its good to see you to! How are you?

Tj: We’re good, Well I’m good. How are you?

Messenger: Good thanks.

Lucy: Well I am good. What are you now messager?

Messenger: Well I am still a Messenger but now I work for the court.

Lucy: Thats wonderful!

Messenger; I guess so.

Molly: Geez lets get on with it.

Everyone ( Apart from Molly): Yeah good idea.

Judge: So Tj and Lucy could I please see the results.

Lucy and Tj: Sure. ( As they hand the telly over to the Judge and he looks at it)

Judge: Hm...interesting... thanks Lucy and Tj.

Lucy and Tj: You're welcome.

Judge: Messenger.

Messenger: Yes?

Judge: Can you please give this telly to the council computers? ( As he hands over the telly)

Messenger: Sure.

Tj: Well me and Lucy could go it’s in our house.

Judge: Ture but you guys don’t know how to work a computer.

Lucy: Ture. ( As she hands the Messenger the keys)

Everyone( Apart from the Messenger): Bye  Messenger.

Messenger: Bye. ( As he walks out the door)

Judge: So when he comes back we will announce the winners of the protest.

Lucy: Ok sounds good.

Tj: Ok.

Molly: Well ok.

Jane: Well if it is quick then whatever.

Ruby: ONLY IF I CAN HAVE A DRINK AFTER AUCHLY I HAVE TO HAVE A DRINK AFTER.

Jane: Yeah me too.

Judge: Ok.

(  Messenger comes in)

Messenger: Here. There is a clear winner. ( As he hands over the telly)

Judge: Thanks. Ok the winner is.... drum roll.... ( Does get to finish the sentence)

Ruby and Jane: SESAME SEED LAND!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOHOOO.

Others (Not Ruby and Jane): Haha... shush.

Judge: As I was saying... BANANA LAND!

Ruby and Jane: WOOOHOOO! Wait , what ?

Tj and Lucy: YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jane and Ruby: WHAT? THATS UNFAIR.

Judge, Messenger,Tj and Lucy: No its not.

Jane and Ruby: b-bye ( As they start to fume)

Lucy: RUN! ( Everyone runs outside and into Lucys and Tjs house)

Ruby: GET ME A DRINK OR I MIGHT WET MYSELF.

Lucy: I told you so. By the way having a drink will probably make you want to go toilet more. ( Calls from Lucy’s and Tj’s house)

Messenger: Well I am going home now. I am tired.

Judge: I should go too.

All: Bye!!

Judge: By the way Lucy and Tj , good job on winning.

Tj and Lucy: Thanks. ( As Judge and Messenger walk out the door)

Tj and Lucy: Good night. See you tomorrow ( As they both walk into their rooms )
