     Trip To Beach ED

On the 20th of november 2013 we went down to paekakariki beach to participate in Beach ED. We went there by bus. I sat next to Adam. we just talked on the way. It took a little while. my dad was a helper. so was my friends mother. my dad met me down at paekakariki beach. then we went inside and 2 of the lifeguards talked to us about what was going to happen. then we got to take a tour of the club and then we got to have a look at the equipment. then we had morning tea. after morning tea we played some games. first we played some seaweed. I managed to get pretty far apart from one game when I got tripped up. then we did some relays. we had to team up with another team. I wanted to do it with my friends group. but they did it with another group. at first we did it with a normal plastic baton. then we did it with a life tub. finally we did it with the lifetube AND flippers. it was hard work, but we got it done in the end. then we watched a video inside about beach safety. then we had lunch. I had powerade, a sandwich and a chocolate muffin. I only had the powerade because I had forgotten my drink bottle, and dad thought I might have forgotten it, so he got some powerade on the way. then we had a few races in the water. then we had a free swim. I went along pulling my friends on a lifetube shouting “maggots!” and other army stuff. then it was time to go home. I had a shower in the changing rooms and then got changed. And then I had an idea. I asked dad if I we could drop dylans mum and 2 of my friends of at their homes. We dropped off dylan and his mum, Ngaire near their home, but we couldn’t bring 2 other friends because, my dad didn’t know if their mum was going to pick them up or not. Ngaire thanked us for letting them go in our van and not that noisy old bus. then we went home ten minutes before the end of school. I hope You liked reading this recount. Bye!
