Beach Education

on the 20th of november 2013 room six and nineteen went to beach education or beach ed. there they about rips,rescue tactics , first aid and surf lifesaving history  

when we arrived  at the paekakariki surf life saving club.we were told to get off the bus and line up on the grass . and wait for the life guards to come out of the club house. when the come out of the club house and invite us into the clubhouse they introduced themselves as chris, matt and taylor. we were split into two groups . i was with room six (group one) so we got the tour clubhouse first  we got  to see a rescue board, atv a1,rib a2 . when we were done  we swapped with room nineteen so they did the tour and we did the first aid stuff .

then it was morning tea .after morning tea we went outside to play relays    with flippers  !!!!! and rescue tubes. it  was really fun i had an advantage .

i knew how to run in flippers. after that we did slip slop slap wrap
it means
SLIP on some clothes
SLOP sunscreen
SLAP on a hat
WRAP on sunglasses
when shopping for sunscreen check the spf factor , the expiration date and  how long it lasts for

after slip slop slap wrap we had lunch  and then  swimming free time
