Preparing for Waikanae School's arts trail

Preparing for Waikanae School arts trail

On Saturday the 9th of November , Waikanae School is having their own little arts trail after the successful one Kapiti had last weekend.

Today (8th of November) the classes of Waikanae School got to go up to the court to draw pictures with chalk , so we can display them at the arts trail.

We went up to the court after morning tea. We were given chalk and we were allowed to draw anything we wanted (unless it was rude).

I drew a LOAD of fireworks that were coloured purple , orange , blue , green , yellow or almost any colour you could think of!

Mr C got everyone to draw fireworks on the wall (the wooden one). Everyone joined in ,
and some climbed up the back of the wall to draw a firework at the top. It looked awesome!

We had been there for about an hour and a half , and it was great fun.
By the end of it all , the court was like a huge rainbow.
It was really enjoyable.
