Scene: Jack and Jill are sitting at the kitchen table eating breakfast when their mother walks in.

Mother: Jack, Jill I want you to go and fetch some water from the well and bring it back to the cottage.

Jack: Ok mother, we will, just as soon as we finish breakfast.

Mother: Ok then, hurry up.

(Jack and Jill finish breakfast and go to find the pail.)

Jill: Where is that pail. I know it is around here somewhere.Here it is, let’s go now Jack.

(Jack and Jill run out the front door and run towards the hill.)

Jack: Hurry up Jill, the well is just at the top of this hill!!

Jill: Here we are Jack. You fill it up, you're the strongest.

Jack: Ok,ok, give me that. uhh Here.

( Jack hands Jill the pale full of water)

Jill: This is really heavy Jack, can you please carry it.

Jack: No, I got it out of the well,  you have to carry it.

Jill: Fine.

(Jack wanders off ahead towards the the bottom of the hill)

Jill: Wait for me Jack, you're going too fast, you're going to fall over.

Jack: Oh,ouch crash

(Jack falls down the hill and hits his head on a big, sharp rock.)

Jill: Jack are you ok, i’m coming down.

(Jill drops the pail and starts to run down the hill)

Jill: Hold on Jack i’m coming for you. Are you ok?

( Jill reaches Jack as Jack is just starting to sit up)

Jack:I guess but my head hurts really badly!

Jill: Ok, let’s get you home to mother so she can help you.

( Jack and Jill start walking and soon get home)

Mother: Oh my goodness what happened to you jack, Come in and lie down so I can have a look. Oh that looks bad, Jill quickly go and get the first aid kit!!

( Jill runs out and backs carrying a first aid kit)

Jack: Ow, that hurts can you please be a bit more careful.

Mother: Hold still. There that should do it.

Jill: Will he be ok?

Mother: He should be but I still need that water so could you please go and get it for me!

Jill: Ok

( Jill walks out of the room to go and get the pail of water)

Mother: I will see you when you get back.
